In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana together with several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
