Vinted Members Share Displeasure Over Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The company said the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Earlier, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
